The German folk group Pilger der Hoffnung was founded on April 8, 2001, in the municipality of Cariacica, as an initiative of young Lutherans to promote Germanic culture. Its members attend the Lutheran Church of Santa Cecília. It is currently the only German folk group in Greater Vitória. The community happily welcomes people interested in participating in the cultural revival.
